It's daft though that it's so easy to stop. The annoyance I find is there is an extra layer of copy protection on these CDs that put errors on the disc that confuse CD-ROM drives. It will copy it's just that the drive will spin down very slow and it can take 5 hours to rip a CD! It is ridiculous though. I've bought songs online and wind up burning them to CD, then ripping to MP3 to get around the windows media file protection. PITA, but it works.
